“Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” follows the story of a martial artist Shang-Chi, trained as an assassin since he was a child, who tries to escape his life of violence and instead live a more peaceful one in San Francisco. Kicking of Marvel’s Phase Four, “Shang-Chi” will mark the first film in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe to have an Asian lead and fully Asian production team.
Originally scheduled for release in February 2021, the film ran into delays as many others did during the COVID-19 pandemic and is now set to premiere September 3, 2021.
